What is Glass Fusing?
Walk in any time to make colorful, functional fused glass at Make Expression.
Our helpful, friendly staff members will be there every step of the way to offer assistance if you need it. Fused glass is like stained glass without the lead lining. Design is created by layering colorful shapes of glass onto a project base. Kiln firing brings those layers together for a smooth finish. Projects include jewelry pendants, frames, night lights, sun catchers, plates, dishes & serving pieces. Glass pricing ranges from $15-$85. Glass Fusion is recommended for ages 10 & up unless assisted by an adult.​

We encourage you to take all the time you need to paint your special piece. It is about creating that special memory! We don't have studio fees, time limits or reservations to worry about.
How Does Glass Fusing Work?

Pick your project
Pick from many projects or one you create from your own inspiration and then select a base that fits your project.

Design and Glue
Choose from colorful stringers, noodles, frits, bits, strips and pebbles to make your amazing design. You can also cut and shape glass with nippers and cutting tools. As your design comes together, glue them to the base to keep your design intact.

Fire and Fuse
After you finish and checkout, we place your project in a glass Kiln for firing to fuse your design and smooth the edges & round corners of your glass masterpiece.

Take it home
Pick up your project & Enjoy! Flat Fused projects are ready in 1 week. Slump Shaped projects require second firing in Kiln and will be ready in 10 days.
